Smart Grid

Intelligent way of using energy

Smart grids are elite systems for monitoring, analyzing, controlling, and communicating within supply chains to streamline resource consumption and expenditure and maximize reliability, transparency, and oversight. IoT devices works as a Communication All in One for cloud as well as end devices. It supports IEC 60870-5-102, IEC 60870-5-103, and IEC 60870-5-104 to integration with National Load Dispatch Center (NLDC). This facilitates preventive maintenance, fault detection, historical analysis of the plant in addition to Real Time Telemetry (RTT).

Smart Grid

Smart grids are energy distribution networks connected through an array of devices such as smart meters and sensors.
Smart-grid architecture typically features data centers, communication networks, SCADA systems, Advanced metering infrastructure, Monitoring systems, Automation systems, and several specifically tailored applications.
Opportunities
• Increasing output and maximizing reliability
• Working with devices constructed for the future, not the past
• Ensuring that there are no loose ends in your system
• Designing new applications to provide added value
Benefits
• Avoid power outages and reduce consumption during peak usage periods
• Adapt quickly to changes in transmission lines
• Drastically reduce investments in costs and human resources
• Reduce the extent of peak demand
• Introduce demand response and dynamic pricing models
• Easily distribute generation capacities and alternate energy sources
• Have your grid diagnose and resolve its own faults and errors (self-healing)
• Predict maintenance requirements more effectively (online Asset management and equipment monitoring)
• Run network simulations in real time

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

AMI is a comprehensive, integrated collection of devices, networks, computer systems, customer billing, protocols and organizational processes dedicated to bi-directionally distributing highly accurate information about customer electricity, gas, water, and heat usage throughout the utility and back to the customers themselves.

Our RF mesh network solutions at unlicensed frequency (922MHz-925MHz) supports IEEE802.15.4g/4e PHY/MAC, 6LowPAN, IPv6 and supports multi-hopping operation and frequency hopping with security encryption (AES) and authentication (802.1x). The Bi-directional data transmission supports protocol IEC 62056-21 (DLMS/COSEM protocol).

And GPRS and NB-IoT solutions support The Mobile Broadband Standard, specified by 3GPP.

The Hybrid dual mode communication module supports IEEE802.15.4g/4e and G3-PLC 6LowPAN adaption layer for AMI solutions.

AMI provides Intelligent monitoring of consumption, Increased security of supply and higher efficiency, Variable tariffs dependent on overall consumption and grid load, Helps customers deliver energy to grid by using Net-Metering for generation, Provides detailed information on what is being consumed/delivered on a quasi-real-time basis, Improves utility operations by identifying where energy is being consumed, helps localize outages, and highlights areas with possible energy theft.

NLDC Integration

Using the Internet of Things (IoT) Technology for supervising renewable and non renewable power generation plant can greatly enhance the performance, monitoring and maintenance of the plant.

The new cost effective methodology based on IoT to remotely monitor a renewable and traditional power plant is greatly reduces the implementation time and cost due to its plug and play system without any control wires. Power Plant Controller (PPC) works as a Communication All in One for cloud as well as wired and wireless sensors. It supports  IEC 60870-5-104 in addition with other 870-5-102 to integration with National Load Dispatch Center (NLDC). This facilitates preventive maintenance, fault detection, historical analysis of the plant in addition to Real Time Telemetry (RTT) from your smartphone.

SenNet PPC

SenNet PPC (Power Plant Controller) is a solution for the monitoring and controlling of power generation plants. In this type of installation, it is essential to monitor and remotely control the status of the devices involved in the process: inverters, meters, PV sensors (wired or wireless), substation, trackers, etc. It is compatible with most of the inverter manufacturers on the market such as Solarmax, SMA, Fronius, Danfos, GreenPower, Ingeteam, Aurora, PowerOne, Refu, Kaco, Riello, Xantrex, Sunways, Sungrow, Siemens, Atersa, etc. as well as with most of the meter manufacturers such as Actaris, Landis & Gyr, Circutor, etc. It has All (Radio Frequency, GPRS/3G/4G, WiFi, Ethernet, RS485/232, etc.) in One communication features to connect with the plant Devices, Plant SCADA and NLDC SCADA. SenNet Solar is a plug and play system for your renewable energy plant and it’s reduces the physical work at your plant and you can monitor anytime from anywhere at your smartphone.
